El bosque de Mapu Lahual

The Mapuche are a native people who have lived in Chile and Argentina for thousands of years. They resisted the Incas but were decimated by the Spanish conquest. After that, their land was stolen during the wave of German immigration at the end of the 19th century. Today, they are fighting to preserve their rights and their land, and facing the threats posed by the western civilization.

The last inhabitants of Mapu Lahual, on the Pacific coast of Chile, are getting organized to preserve their territory and claim property over their land.
